Get started
From download to a live workspace in three steps: install the app, connect a data provider, and join the community. Installing, on Windows or a Mac, and the two steps after it each have a video under a minute.
Install Noda Terminal
The app is not code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS each ask you to approve it the first time it opens. They ask once.

On a Mac
- Once it is in Applications, eject the disk image and delete the .dmg. Always open the app from Applications, so updates can install.
- No Open Anyway under Security? Open the app once more, then come back to Privacy & Security.
- The keychain holds the vault with your API keys. Plain Allow asks again at every launch, and an update can ask once more, since each build is signed afresh.
Connect a data provider
0:36Most widgets wait for a market-data key. London Strategic Edge gives one away free, and once it is saved the watchlist, sectors and chart start streaming.
- The key is kept in an encrypted vault on your computer, sealed by your operating system's own credential store. It is never sent to Noda.
- One key streams up to 100 symbols live. Add a second in Additional API key 2 for 100 more.

Join the community
